Abstract
Stargardt’s disease, which typically manifests in early adulthood and progresses with central vision loss, presents variable approaches regarding the timing of cataract surgery and intraocular lens selection. Surgical decisions should consider multiple factors such as the extent of retinal damage, presence and location of scotomas in the visual field, and reduced contrast sensitivity.
