Choroidal Effusion and Choroidal Detachment

Abstract
Choroidal effusion and choroidal detachment are abnormal fluid accumulation in the potential suprachoroidal space. Though the choroidal effusions occur under a variety of pathologic conditions, they are most commonly noted following intraocular surgery, especially glaucoma filtering and tube shunt surgeries. Choroidal effusion resolves with medical or conservative treatment in many cases; however, its management could be difficult in some cases.
