Imaging Systems for Diagnosis and Following of the Retinopathy of Prematurity

In recent years, there has been a lot of changes in the diagnosis and follow-up imaging systems of Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) in the light of technological developments. Advanced imaging systems play a major role in accurately diagnosing and staging ROP disease, making timely treatment decisions, and documenting and sharing data. In addition, due to increasing medicolegal problems, advanced wide-field digital imaging systems and better fundus photographs are needed. In this study, the properties of conventional imaging systems and new wide-angle imaging systems used for diagnosis and follow-up of ROP were evaluated.
