Fundus Fluorescein Angiography

Abstract
Fundus fluorescein angiography which is an imaging technique that has been known for nearly 50 years is used to examine both the normal anatomy and also pathologies of the retina and choroid. The technique is based on the fluorescent ability of the molecule sodium fluorescein. Pathologies are discerned as otofluorescence, hyperfluorescence and hypofluorescence on the angiogram.
