Idiopathic Choroidal Neovascularizations

Abstract
Idiopathic choroidal neovascularization (ICNV) is a disease that often affects individuals under 50 years of age without an any underlying pathology. The prognosis of this pathology that often shows unilateral involvement is better than the CNV seen in age-related macular degeneration. Successful anatomical and functional outcomes can be achieved with application of current treatment modality with anti-vascular endothelial growth factors (VEGF) and with the need of low reinjection numbers.
