Urgent Approach, Current Therapies and New Developing Therapies in Retinal Artery Occlusion
Abstract
In this article, we aimed to describe the urgent approach, current therapies and new developing therapies in retinal artery occlusion. Although there is no definite therapy about this topic, any treatment within the first 6 hours is effective and important. The vascular system should be examined in order to prevent any vascular end-organ ischemia and patients should be monitored for ocular complications.
