Ocular Electrophysiological Examinations

Abstract
Electrophysiological examinations in general are made based upon the principles of distribution of electric charges in nerve and muscle cells and the changes in their behaviour in different conditions. Emphasizing on the most widely used tests in ocular electrophysiology in this article, the principles of basic investigations in ocular electrophysiology and some examples obtained from the patients examined in our electrodiagnostic unit are discussed.
