Intravitreal Ranibizumab Treatment and Treatment Regimens in Macular Edema due to Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion
Abstract
Branch retinal vein occlusion (BRVO) represents the second most common retinal vascular disorder. With understanding of the role of VEGF in macular edema due to BRVO, intravitreal anti-VEGF agents are used as the most important therapeutic tool in the management of BRVO. In this review we try to discuss intravitreal ranibizumab treatment and treatment regimens in macular edema due to branch retinal vein occlusion.
